About
The mission of the Richmond Village Beacon is to provide a safe, fun and supportive environment in the Richmond district for all youth and adults to explore and reach their full potential through youth development programming, supportive services, and adult enrichment activities in a school based setting. Programming is grounded in the principles of self-determination, cultural and economic diversity, and community building.
The Richmond Village Beacon is located in the Richmond District in San Francisco. RVB is based at George Washington High School and has two satellite sites at Presidio and Roosevelt Middle Schools. Services are based on youth development and occur Monday-Friday from 10am-8pm. These services include evening adult and community enrichment programs.
