Programs
The WABC is a youth and family center located in the Western Addition at John Muir Elem. School and Raoul Wallenberg High School. After school and community programs are offered at no cost to youth and families. Hours of operation are from 10am -7pm, Mon.-Thur. and 10am-8pm on Fridays, with special scheduled events & programs offered to the community on weekends. |

Adult Activities:
Beacon Parent Committee: Third Wednesday each month 5:30pm- 6:30pm
Beacon Parent Committee consists of five parents who are committed to supporting the Beacon mission. They meet monthly to discuss possible activities and events that can be supported at the Beacon Center.
Services
Family and youth Case management, food bank, housing support, employment assistance, early morning child watch.
Workshops
Parenting classes, financial literacy, homework help (for parents)
Events
Halloween Fun Fest, Thanksgiving dinner and turkey give away, Holiday Toy Drive, Holiday Celebration and toy give away, Family Movie Night, nutrition seminar, Black History Month Celebration, family barbecue |
