Beacon Centers welcome parents and caregivers with an array of programs and services designed to meet the needs of each neighborhood, including parenting classes, ESL, computer skills, and many more options. Serving parents, and strengthening connections between parents, schools, and communities is central to the mission of the San Francisco Beacon Initiative. Also, parents and other family members are crucial partners in the educational and youth development focus of the Beacon Centers.
